Tom Keane is a corporate vice president at Microsoft. In this role, he manages the Azure Government and Azure Commercial service lines to ensure that the US federal government and commercial enterprise customers receive the quality product support they expect from Microsoft. His previous roles included vice president of sales for the Americas, where he led a sales organization of more than 900 employees and an annual revenue run rate above $3 billion. Keane is based in the company’s Boston office. Tom Keane was raised in a small town called Kingston, Rhode Island. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1999 with an engineering degree. After working for several jobs in the information technology field, Tom Keane joined Microsoft in 2004.

The software developer started as a software engineer and troubleshooter focusing on Exchange Online, FrontPage, and Office 365. He left his job as a software engineer after having been asked to help launch the Office Online service. Tom Keane has always had an outstanding career within all the corporation´s instances.
