The horse began throwing him off but, unlike most kids, Milani boarded back on the horse and continued to ride it.

Thus his love for horse riding began. In 2009, his parents divorced, and he subsequently moved to London, England, where he attended Eaton Square School. Coming to his high school years, in 2010, he moved back to Bay Area and began to attend Sacred Heart Preparatory in Atherton. While there, he began to take horse riding lesson and soon started competing on the backs of championship horses. In 2015, he won the first leg of the triple crown with his horse CH. After this win, he took on a fourth-place ranking at the Worlds Championship Horse Show and 3rd place nationally at the American Royal. In 2016, Milan placed 2nd in the Five-Gaited Show Pleasure division. During his sophomore year of Sacred Heart Preparatory, he created Milan Farms. It focuses and operates on the production of organic poultry, eggs, and pure saffron. The eggs are from free-ranging chickens that are being fed organic feed and vegetables throughout the week. As for the saffron, only the brightest part is used because of its high quality and are tested for confirmation. He believes that consumers should know what goes into a product as well as how it was raised. Milan Kordestani was the first farmer to grow Saffron without soil but by microfiber sponges. Another process used when growing plants is called drip irrigation. He is also researching hydroponic and aquaponic systems for growing saffron. Milan Kordestani has also come up with ways to monitor his herbs. One of those ways is Parrot Flower Power. It measures the parameters that are crucial for growth and good health of plants. Another way is Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix has moisture which protects plants that are being over-watered and not receiving enough water. With these methods into effect, consumers can ensure that they are receiving high-quality products from the best source.
