Anthony Petrello is currently the CEO and chairman of Nabors Industries. He has his base in Hamilton Bermuda. Nabors Industries boasts of the largest geothermal power plant and natural gas extraction in the whole world. They work all over the world drilling minerals in continents like; the Middle East, USA, Far East and Africa. It was established in 1968 and was then called Anglo Energy.
Tony Petrello attended Harvard University and Yale University. When he was in Harvard, he acquired his J. D degree and while in Yale University, he did a BS and an MC degree in Mathematics. He then went on to work at a law firm named Baker and McKenzie in 1979 and was a managing partner in the firm’s New York division from 1985 to 1991.
He was recruited at Nabors Industries in 1991 as the Chief Operating Officer and the following year, 1992, he was made the president. By 2003, he was the Deputy Chairman of Nabors Industries until 2012 June. Tony was then endorsed to be the CEO and since then, he has been the chairman of the board. He directs the board of Stewart and Stevenson, LLC, MediaOnDemand and the Texas Children’s Hospital.
Tony Petrello’s compensation for 2015 was 27,512,939 US dollars and he also got 1,580,077 US dollars as his salary. On top of it, he had a bonus 7,727,000 US dollars, a stock of 16,863,656 US dollars and 1,342,206 US dollars as other compensations.

His daughter Carena was born with a rare condition called periventricular leukomalacia having 24 weeks and weighed 20 ounces. At the moment, she is learning to walk and talk although some more conditions are also developing. His wife is encouraging and together, they have been active in the board of Texas Children’s Hospital. He is currently working with scientists who are researching on the cure of PVL and is pumping in 7 million dollars towards the good course.
